This organization would not be able to function without its volunteers. Volunteering with the Boosters is an important and rewarding experience. Many friendships are formed among the people who volunteer for the Music Booster organization. Being able to be a part of your students music activities allows parents (and other family and friends) to be involved in a big part of their lives. Please take the time to sign up for any amount of time or items you can give.
No experience is necessary!
We have a very easy way to find out what our volunteering needs are! We use the website TimeToSignUp.com which allows us to create sign-up sheets for whatever we need. All you need to do choose the item or time slot you are signing up for, enter in some contact information, and you are done. It’s that easy! If you were asked by the Boosters to purchase an approved item (i.e., last minute supplies, snack shack items, etc.) and NOT items listed as donations you may request reimbursement. Please attach all receipts. Submit paper work to May Gallagher (Treasurer) or Danielle Harriman (Assistant Treasurer) or contact them if you have any questions.
Volunteer Security Clearances
The Northern Music Boosters are enforcing the School District policy regarding Security Clearances for adults who might be alone with students.
The Music Boosters, along with the music department directors, have determined that the following volunteer positions require District Security Clearances:
- Chaperones for football games or competitions, or any other off campus event
- Pit Crew volunteers
- Uniform Closet volunteers
If you have any questions about needing Security Clearances, please contact Mr. Sheffer, or the appropriate director.
